Capture Imaging upgrades servicing capability

Capture Imaging, a provider of document and print management solutions in North East Scotland, is streamlining the scheduling and control of its field service engineers with the 2serv service management application from Purpose Software.

By upgrading to 2Serv, from its existing CBS system – also supplied by Purpose Software – Capture Imaging hopes to be able to handle more service calls and deploy manpower resources more effectively.

With the 2roam app installed on their smartphones and tablets engineers can access and update the system remotely.

The 2serv system provides rapid access to information relating to customers, contracts, installed devices and servicing; it improves the control of parts and consumables in the warehouse, at customer sites and in engineers’ vehicles; and it generates purchase orders automatically to maintain optimum stock levels and eliminate the incidence of double ordering.
